Supper friendly staff, it was wonderful stay.
Location: the hotel was really close to Zahara, a valley surrounded by fields and beach, quiet and peaceful, lots of fun for kids. Everything was good, yet a few employees were very unfriendly.

Exceptional staff, it was wonderful stay.
We had a cosy standard room facing mountain. Central heating, a work desk, and a TV set with satellite channels worked well and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The hotel (very well renovated farmhouse over 400 years old) is highly recommended for people who are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful location and surroundings! The rooms, probably former horse stables, have been completely renovated in a rustic and clean style, including heating, bath and good beds. The hotel was very clean, the whole staff was very friendly and courteous. Small travel tips which were recommended at the reception were brilliant. The breakfast was unusually rich and delicious, the homemade dinner menu with 2 choices including a drink and dessert was also very tasty and sufficient on all days. The tables were set very clean and responsive. All in all very recommendable for people who do not set pure luxury as maxim.
No negative experiences.

hotel is beautiful in terms of its rustic look, dinner was good. You have to book before 17:30 but if it is the day of arrival you can book later still. You can only choose between two different dishes so there is little variety but it's home cooking and price is very good (12 euro for the menu) plus the dishes are well served. We haven't tried the pool but it looked good from a distance. internet worked well and without having to enter username/password etc. sometimes fail.
The mattress was hard for my taste (but this depends on each one). I found a dead bug in my bed (something that can happen in a field site). The road to get there can be a bit difficult for drivers less used to mountain/mountain roads, so it is advisable to arrive during the day.

I was amazed by the breathtaking surroundings of this hidden gem. Surrounded by vineyards and farms, it felt like a serene paradise. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, from accommodating my special food requests to assisting with finding availability at other hotels. The food and wine were outstanding, with a world-class chef creating delicious meals that were organic and fresh. Despite a small mishap with a parasol, my stay was incredibly peaceful, and I left feeling a sense of inner peace. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
